Fernando Martinez is een terugkomend karakter op de radiozenders in de Grand Theft Auto-serie.
Zo is hij in Grand Theft Auto III op Chatterbox FM bij Lazlow te horen om te vertellen over Fernando's New Beginnings. Tevens zijn er reclamespotjes te horen over Fernando's New Beginnings.
In GTA Vice City Stories is hij te horen als co-host van het radiostation Emotion 98.3, waar zwoele, romantische muziek met een emotioneel tintje gedraaid wordt. Lionel Peace, de host van het radiostation, houdt voortdurend contact met Fernando, de 'romantic reporter'. Zo deelt Fernando bijzondere, romantische taferelen in Vice City mede.
In GTA Vice City is Fernando niet langer de co-host van Emotion 98.3, maar heeft hij de touwtjes volledig in handen. De muziek is nog altijd even zwoel en hij houdt de luisteraars op de hoogte van zijn 'romantische' liefdesleven.
In GTA San Andreas maakt Fernando Martinez zijn come-back met zijn praatprogramma Lonely Hearts op WCTR.
In het Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City verzamelpakket met de twee uitbreidingen van GTA IV is Fernando Martinez als host te horen op Vice City FM.
In Grand Theft Auto V is Fernando te horen op WCTR met zijn eigen programma, "The Fernando Show".
Fernando's Medallion Man
In GTA Vice City beheert Fernando het bedrijf Fernando's Medallion Man, een producent van romantische medallions.
